Hello adrianaisemberg, Yes you can insert either page or post no matter both should work perfectly. And 420px × 350px thing is my mistake.
ReplyDeleteThe slider image Dimensions should be 996px × 378px, and I’ll correct it in a later release. Thanks for pointing it to me.

I’m sorry but you have to understand as the slider automatically fetching content from posts, there is no way to change the order of its appearance. Posts are appearing order of published. If I implemented this thing for manual processing it will be more harder and extra work for site admins. However, you can try with changing the post published date. Hope it will work.

I have the title (which is the post’s title), but I can’t see any text below it. I mean – I have some text in the post’s body, but it doesn’t show in the slide (only the title, and ”...” below it).

OK. I got it.
ReplyDeleteIt appears that if the text is not long enough – it doesn’t appear.
I tried with “test” and it didn’t appear. Tried with longer text – and it works.

Ya I implement that thing because otherwise it won’t look nice. I forced admins to posts little-bit longer text..

I got it. I updated the featuredpost.php file so it prints the $postOutput instead of the $content.
ReplyDeleteIn another words: I skipped all the function calls on the postOutput.
Now the whole text is displayed in the slide (it’s not a long text, so it looks pretty good)

ReplyDeleteI recently upgraded to wp 3.0.3, since then the slider in the main page doesn’t work. Instead, I see all the images in the same page, one after the other.
I’m not 100% sure it is because of upgrading wp, but I’m almost sure that this is the only change I did in the past few days.
Im currently downloading a backup I have form a month ago and I’ll diff the files to see if I find the reason for this.
Meanwhile, can you please take a look at:

No I think your header file or any javascript is messed. in your site javascripts are not working. Check the main navigation. It also not worked. If you edit javascript files or add new js this can be happened. If I found the error I’ll let you know k

Does the latest version address the problems with the slider caused by certain plugins? Need to add mail chimp but it messes up the slider. Any fix for this?
