Hello, please, can you tell how to create Dpordown’s menu. I saw them in the demo, but I can not adjust in my blog
ReplyDeletethnx
When you add a sub page, choose the parent in page attributes when creating the page, it’s typically found along the right side when publishing – Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThis theme mentions the layout is fixed. Can it be relatively easy to adjust to a slightly wider layout if we wanted to?
ReplyDeleteThanks
It would require some HTML /CSS knowledge but should be pretty straightforward for you or anyone who needs to do some adjustments.
ReplyDelete.contentwidth / .columnLarge / .columnSmall will be the primary CSS classes to look into.
You can play with the CSS by using FireBug and fake-edit the site (even my demo) without harm.
Thanks!
Hi I received this messages after I installed. Any reason why?

Please be sure you have only uploaded the theme folder, not the entire download from ThemeForest as noted in the instructions.
ReplyDeleteYou may need to delete the files you have partially uploaded and try again.

I’m a little confused on how the Home Promo stuff works. I’ve filled one out and clicked “Set Active” – however I see nothing displayed on the home page. Does it need a new page or something for it to work?
ReplyDeleteThanks…
Hey there,
ReplyDeletePlease post using the account used to purchase the file or double check that you’re posting in the proper item’s comments. It doesn’t appear you have purchased this file.
Thanks!
Got your email, I think you wanted the “Minimal” theme not “Min” sorry – they’re named quite similar.
ReplyDeleteBe sure you have created a page using the “Home” page template and set that page as home under settings > reading.
Thanks!
I have purchased it. I’ll contact your profile.
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteThis is a great theme. Can you tell me how to replace the tagline on an specific page or post?, maybe an example os the sintaxis of this “custom field”?
Thanks in advanced.
See this video to show custom fields:
ReplyDeletehttp://cudazi.com/2011/wordpress-quick-tip-show-custom-fields/
On that specific page or post, use tagline as the “name” and the value is what you want the tagline to say.
I purchased the Min Wordpress them… love it. Can you tell me if there is a way to reduce the size of he tagline font?
ReplyDeleteThanks
That’s in style.css under “promo” see: http://cl.ly/442P0l2y0y2S041S2B3g
ReplyDeleteGreat simplistic theme.
ReplyDeleteI am having a problem with the text wrapping around the an image in the posts. When I set an image to right or left the text wraps around it like it should but there is no padding. The text comes right up to the image.
Please let me know how to fix this issue. Thanks for your support.
It looks like I went with more robust styles when there’s an image caption, you are more than welcome to add this CSS to override this theme’s defaults:

Thanks!
Love the min theme! 2 Questions which I warn you will be rookie-like.
ReplyDelete- is there a way to add navigation to the top that is not a page in wordpress? This blog is attached to a site so I want to have the ability to navigate from it.
- can the color of the bg/copy/etc be changed? I’m assuming it’s all in the styles.css page. Trying to get it to match the site.
wp link is http://ewbikes.com/blog; site is http://ewbikes.com
I would search the WordPress.org plugins area for menu plugins like Page Links To or similar. All of the styles can be modified but will require some HTML /CSS knowledge of course.
ReplyDeleteI would suggest downloading a browser tool called FireBug or use the Google Chrome Inspector tool. It will allow you to fake-edit the site without causing any harm, it will reveal what styles and files are being used and where to locate them.
Unfortunately, I cannot do free customization work but those tools will get you going in the right direction.

Update: The demo site is now running on WordPress 3.4+
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI like the theme – very simple to use.
I have one question. The date format for my blog is english – dd-month, year. Any posts displayed on the home page have a US date format mm/dd/yy. Any ideas on how to change that?
Kind regards,
- Stuart
Hey Stuart, anywhere you see the_time(‘m.d.y’) such as in index.php or single.php you can use different date formats, see them all at: http://codex.wordpress.org/Formatting_Date_and_Time
ReplyDeleteHello! There is a bug with iOS6 on iPad and facebook comments active, i think is a DIV problem. Try to see it on my site (http://claimed.me) on iOS6 on iPad

Can you try disabling any non-included/suggested plugins to see if any are contributing to the problem?
ReplyDeleteHI there I’m really interested in buying your theme, can I add ads in the side column?
ReplyDeleteThanks
You’re welcome to add any plugins or widgets with ads as needed.
ReplyDeleteDo you have any plans to make this theme responsive?
ReplyDeleteNot at this time, thank you!
ReplyDeleteWhen this becomes responsive please post. thx.
