Hello, I need some assistance please. I had a similar request and you solved the problem promptly regarding Permalinks and 404 pages.

The page displays properly but when I click the image link (on any of the portfolio items) it is a broken link. I have tried resetting the permalinks but continue to receive a page not found page.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”

1. Can i make the portfolio thumbnail image on the homepage as a hyperlink?
2. I notice that in the portfolio page on my website (http://googdigitalmedia.com/portfolio/), the image is a bit blurry. Any suggestion to make it sharper?
3. Unlike your demo page portfolio, my portfolio image does not show navigation button on the bottom when user zoom the image. How can i enable the navigation button?

ReplyDelete1. Yes, you can make it hyperlink by setting lightbox property false like below example.

2. Portfolio script is cropping image with 427px width. If you upload all thumbnail images with 427px width then it will not crop and display default image without any blur.
3. Please test with fresh version of the theme to debug custom changes for pagination. You can try with less amount images per page for testing like 4 images per page. If this will not help to fix the issue then please send your website admin login details from our profile page form ( http://themeforest.net/user/softwebmedia ) so we can check and give you feedback.

I have an older version of ultraweb. I had image colors customized for branding reasons. I tried to update the site with newer version and lost everything, so I am back to the old version but recent projects and portfolio images aren’t showing correctly. I am getting this message in recent project settings. How do I fix these issues?

ReplyDeleteIt looks you have very old version. Version 2.0 ( uploaded on 16th May, 2013 ) is coded from scratch so it is necessary to add content as per new design and options.
We are sorry to say because we can’t help to fix older version issue because WordPress default code has lots update so it is necessary to use latest theme version for security and many other reasons.
Theme update don’t delete any post/page/images but replace old theme files with new themes. If you did any changes in themes file like header.php, footer.php then you have to override current files with custom coded files.

ReplyDeleteIt has line height issue and you can fix it by adding below custom css in admin > appearance > theme options > custom css/javascriipt > Add Custom CSS code
h2,h3,h4,h5,h6 { line-height:normal; }
Somehow it was deleted in global style so we will fix this bug in next updated version.

ReplyDeleteLove this theme, and so have my clients. I customized the theme images to use my branded colors and now some functions aren’t working on the old theme. I tried to update to the newest version and everything was a mess. I have reverted back to the old version. If images are deleted from media library then there is no way to take backup. Theme update does not delete any post/page content and media files.

ReplyDeleteYou should wait until we release updated version and announce compatibility on wordpress 4.5. Latest WP has new jQuery and that’s why it required updated code.
We will upload latest version on next week.
You can quick fix this issue by changing small code in functions.php file
File path : ../wp-content/themes/ultrawebstudio/functions.php
Admin : Admin > Appearance > Editor > Find “functions.php” file name from right sidebar and click to open file in editor box of same page
Now go to line #74 and 85 where you will find below code
#74 ---> wp_register_style('widgets', $template_uri . '/widgets.css', '', '1.0');
#85 ---> wp_enqueue_style('widgets');
just add “uws” or any prefix like “ultrawebstudio” before “widget” like below example
#74 ---> wp_register_style('uws-widgets', $template_uri . '/widgets.css', '', '1.0');
#85 ---> wp_enqueue_style('uws-widgets');

ReplyDeleteSeparate class attribute is not added but you can add class name with other shortcode properties. Like in “service_box” shortcode you can add custom class name with column property. For example

ReplyDeleteI have tried to disable REST API using both the plugin ‘Disable REST API’ and by manually insert this code in the functions.php of the child theme:

But without any luck.
Do you recommend a way to disable REST API?
