Includes a neat image rollover system on the home page using Mootools. A clever way to show off your best pieces of work in a small thumbail form that encourages user interaction and increases the chances of people viewing your work.

I have supplied four template pages that give you an excellent base on which to add all your own content.

  1. No offense but as a photographer the functionality of this site is really not meant for a photographer. I do like the design but it really doesn’t make any sense.

The Home page and Portfolio page are basically the same exact thing but look different which is not very functional and confusing to the average user let alone the not so average user.

If I could make a suggestion, (hell which might even make me buy it for one of my projects) and I am going to make this as simple as possible, turn the Home page into the Portfolio page. Scrap the Portfolio page, and turn it into a contact / hire me page. Add a home page that had 1 piece of featured work which will redirect you to the corresponding portfolio piece. Extend the information allowed at the bottom of pictures so that it is not blocking the picture itself. From there it will be a lot more solid and photographers will actually want to use it.

I really really like the two ways you display the portfolio but they are competing with each other. you probably just did what I do all the time which is come up with two great ideas and try to find a way to use them both. Well I really hope to see this because I might be your first buyer haha.
