Pre-sales question:
ReplyDeleteHow many columns shortcode does it support?
Hi,
ReplyDeleteIt supports a two-column shortcode – you can see an example here.
aww, good thing i bought thecotton instead, hehe
ReplyDeleteIt would be great if you would develop a fresh updated version of this theme (for wordpress4 and responsive)
ReplyDeleteI have some clients which still love this theme and others who asking for it because most of them like this light vintage look.
It gets to the point and it is a good solution for people who don’t like modern themes at all.
best wishes
Hey,
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for your suggestion! However unfortunately at this point we don’t have plans for releasing a responsive update of the theme, I’m sorry.
Hi there,
ReplyDeleteGreat theme, thanx!
I cannot find where to change the navigation order (menu)
Where is it?
Great Theme, thanks! How can I remove the footer links and menu from the top of the blog page? All other pages are fine

ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI apologise for that – you can access the site now.
theme are not resposive? thank you
ReplyDeleteHi there,
ReplyDeleteThe theme’s layout is not responsive.
I bought PaperCore and Dandellion from you, but PaperCore remains my favorite. It’s a shame it’s not responsive…
ReplyDeleteHi there,
ReplyDeleteThank you for purchasing our themes!
The theme was built a long time before responsive design became a standard and most of its elements were not designed to be in a responsive layout. So, making the theme responsive would require recoding most of its layout and elements from scratch which unfortunately wouldn’t be a general tweak that can be released in an update, I’m sorry.
I have taken over maintenance of a site that uses this theme, and have encountered an error I can’t fix. I migrated the site to a new hosting account today, and have had to manually update image urls throughout the site. (The site was migrated to a subdomain). The error I encountered is on blog posts we are using for an art portfolio section. The images are entered using custom fields/preview-image. I have tried editing and updating the url of the images, but when I save the changes are lost. I then tried duplicating the custom field, and that doesn’t save either. I even tried adding a new blog post using the custom field, and it is not saving the image url either. Am I doing something wrong?? Here is the url of the page: http://joyfulhealingcenter.com/art-gallery/ Any help would be greatly appreciated!
ReplyDeleteNever mind, I found a fix to the problem.

ReplyDeleteHi there,
ReplyDeleteQuick question – for some reason the footer link defaults to the website and not the code that I have added to the copyright text (site options). Where can I edit the code for the footer text?
Many thanks

P.S. That’s the right field to do so, so I’d disable all plugins to make sure this isn’t some kind of cache

Can you tell me the most current version of the theme? I can’t find that info on the theme details page, and need to know if there are updates we need to make. Also, what is the latest version of WordPress the theme is compatible with? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your message!
The latest theme version is 1.3.0 and the latest version we can guarantee compatibility is WP 4.4
But I’ve briefly tried here with the latest WP and it works, but it may not work depending on your plugins / server
Kind Regards,
-Roch
Okay, thanks! We have version 1.1.2 installed, so am trying to get the license code from the original developer to update. Do you have a changelog since then?
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteIn this account here you don’t show as a customer so maybe you’ve used a different account to buy it. We can send you that via support, here: http://pexetothemes.com/support/
Kind Regards,
-Roch
Thanks. As mentioned, we’re trying to track down the original site developer, as he did not give my client the license code. If we can’t locate him, we’ll buy it again. I was just wondering whether there were any major updates since version 1.1.2.
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteNo worries. We’ve had 2 major updates since, 1.2.x and 1.3.0
Kind Regards,
-Roch
I am having trouble getting a blog category page to show the Read More links. (I have simply linked a category from the main menu). I can add a Read More break in the post and it breaks correctly, but the Read More link does not show up. I read in the comments that it may have been disabled for all but the main blog page, so I tried adding this in the archive.php file, just below <?php the_content(’’);?>:
ReplyDelete<?php echo(get_option(“_read_more”)); ?>
Still doesn’t work. Any ideas how to fix?
(that was supposed to be ‘bracket’ a href=”<?php the_permalink(); ?>” class=”moreLink”><?php echo(get_option(“_read_more”)); ?> ‘bracket’)

Can you tell me where to find a list of shortcodes for PaperCore? I can’t find them in the documentation, and PaperCore isn’t listed on your support website.
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteThanks for reaching out!
We don’t have this in our docs indeed. We’ll keep this in mind for future improvements in our docs, as we don’t have this even for the newer themes
But what exactly are you trying to do? Please let us know and we can tell you if it’s possible to do with shortcodes.
Thanks!
Kind Regards,
-Roch
I was interested in adding some tabs or toggles for content display, and possibly some pricing tables.
ReplyDeleteI also can’t find any information on typography for the site. Is there a simple way to choose/add fonts?
Hi!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your reply.
We recommend you using plugins for all of these. We don’t have any specific recommendation but it should be easy to find good plugins for each of these tasks at wordpress.org
Kind Regards,
-Roch
