Hi I have put the models dates of birth in and on site only show as 2016 regardless of date put in and I would like their age to show – what do I need to do? thanks
ReplyDeleteYou have to select “Date Of Birth” meta filed while creating the date of birth.

ReplyDeleteHi again – having some major coding issues that we dont understand so please answer in simple terms – Hi – I purchased Kayapati talent theme a few months ago, and am still having major coding issues with some areas of the website so hoping you can help. The problems are:
ReplyDelete1. Some ages on dob in Talent are showing wrong – we put in the correct date for example 04-04-2009 and it comes up with age 7 instead of 8. A few kids ages are incorrect even though we put in correct dob. Most are okay so a bit weird why some are wrong.
2. We are trying to get the age order to start youngest to oldest in each group so easier to find children of the correct age – eg boys 0-12 or teens 13-16…
3. I can’t get media grid to work in visual composer on front page – only adds a few images and then freezes (googled and apparently a problem with)
4. When people apply the form does to come to our email address

ReplyDelete2. In order to get it in search, you have to create Boys – 0-12 category in custom meta field generator and need to select the talent post in it.
3. Sorry, we do not use VC, we use simple SiteOrigin Page builder, our widget works perfectly with this page builder.
4. The data is sent to admin email.
hi thanks for prompt reply – I don’t understand your answer to 2) – what we are trying to do is when you press on boys all the boys come up – at the moment it seems random order. We would like them to come up in age order from youngest to oldest – how can we do this? then same for girls, teens etc…4) we have the email set up correctly thanks but now the photos sent doing appear – instead goes to page 404 . thanks again for help
ReplyDelete2. It seems you are asking the order of post to be displayed, right?
ReplyDeleteif so we can display only by Date, Post order, Title ASC and DSC. There is no option to display based on the age.

Hi – for a Talent agency so many things not working for us with this theme – how do I at least get in name/title order then please – I tried shortcode but where do I insert? or is there an easier way? thanks

Sorry another question – on the menu when you click on children every child comes up and you can click on their name and view – I would like this to work on the sub headings (and not have them all coming upon children) – 0-3 years etc which I have done and added and if you click on the sub heading the children in that age range come up but you can’t click on their names to see more detail?

ReplyDeleteThanks – so when you click on sub heading under Children say 0-3 and go to the kids profiles should be able to click on their names and open up their page?
ReplyDeleteI also noticed when I click on say Teens all the kids come up on there that I have added for 0-3 or 4-6 etc…and can’t see why? I haven’t added teens yet.

Few posts are displaying using widget and few are from category post, it seems category posts are not giving an option to click on titles, we will fix it soon.
