Whitelite is packed with options for simple customization without any knowledge in html or php to make your site exactly the way you want it. If you don’t like the default color scheme (blue) you can always change to any of the other seven color schemes at any time from the theme options page. The default header space consists of a twitter recent ‘tweet’ and a 468×60 advertisement banner which you could change to a blurb about your site, all changes can be found within the theme options page.

    After installing the Theme, a fatal error message appears after the first post:
    Fatal error: Only variables can be passed by reference in .../wp-content/themes/whitelite/includes/custom-pings.php on line 15
    I need help to understand what’s wrong. The ‘faulty’ line is:
    $comments_by_type = &separate_comments(get_comments('post_id=' . $id));
    Could anybody please lend me some help? TIA ,

    try replacing the entire contents of includes/custom-pings.php with http://pastie.org/711727

    2. Long Post Titles messes up the shadow images underneath…

    The Reply button is not displayed at all
    My wordpress version is 2.9.1 and I tried to see by IE7 and Firefox 3.5.8

    I like this template but have a couple of queries:


    Can the advert image at the top be made taller?
    Can it contain an image with imagemap hyperlinks?
    How does the Calendar link in with the posts?

    I need to do a better job of reading the reviews before buying stuff. I just wasted $25 on a theme that does not work and worse than that, the designer hasn’t replied to his own comment board in a year. Why doesn’t Themeforest take down products like this? It’s annoying.
