Strokes! is a vibrant personal website template, which can be used as a virtual business card on the web. Salient features of the template include:

  • Single page template, which loads instantly and does not require a page refresh for any part of the website

  • Four content sections – about me, my work, social updates & contact me.

  • Cufon text replacement for using a custom font for navigation and social media site links

  • jQuery-enabled animated rollovers and transparency effects

  • jQuery-enabled sliding animation for navigating across sections of content


    • Note: Please note that the transparency effects are not compatible with Internet Explorer resulting in slightly less eye-candy on the browser. Other than that though, it is completely functional on all browsers.




    Update 16 May 2012: Fixed alignment issues in some browsers and added a functioning PHP contact form.

    What happens on the pages if the content is more that a page long? Will the page scroll or are they fixed height?

    The template is not built for content that goes out of bounds. Although technically it is possible to get it to work with scrollable content within each section, it’ll require a fair amount of tweaking to the original code.
