  2. I need this one on WP!! geez!!

  3. The UTF -8 encoding

    meta http-equiv=”Content-Type” content=”text/html; charset=utf-8”

(note: this is not the correct code of course, had to delete a few things to show it here.)

I never encountered this problem in the past and I have bought several websites from Theme Forrest. The utf-8 coding does not work in ReVisionary with the norwegian letters – æ – ø – å – and I don’t know what to do in order to make it work. To write each letter manually is not the alternative

Any help would be appreciated, I am not going to give up this amazing website.

  4. I’m guessing this is only happening with headings and titles? If so, it’s because those characters are not included in the Cufon font replacement file. You need to recreate the file with these glyphs.

There are detailed instructions on how to do this in the help document. It’s right at the beginning of the document, the section is titled “Cufon – font replacement”.

  5. You are perfectly right – thanks! Silly me, I only tried the headlines. And its not a big job to make them manually if I do not find out of the instructions, but I will try.

  6. Glad you were able to get it to work for you. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.

  10. Hi
Thanks for this however I’m having trouble getting the skin to change. I’m a developer (not a newbie) and nothing I’ve tried works. All I want to do is change the default color to the skin-24 yellow that is already supplied in the code. I’ve changed

    to

and yet it just loads the default red everytime. It’s not a cache issue either.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks

  11. Try removing the demo code. It’s the section of code in the head labeled “Demo Only”. That code is used to do the dynamic skin switching and is activating the default skin when it loads unless it detects a cookie.

If you want the skin switching still functional but a different default skin, change the default skin number near the end of the demo.js file to the number of your desired default skin.

  14. WP-Version would be so very nice

  15. Well, I’m starting to consider it. I’ve been getting more requests so I’ll look into scheduling some time to work on this. No guarantees…

The truth is this is my favorite design so far, and although it’s not my most popular I think I would really like to use it for a WordPress site myself.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Yes! That’s great news.
I for one, would be happy to pay a premium for a WP version of this wonderful theme.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Are you still considering the WP version?? Have you started working on it?

    ReplyDelete
  18. I’m still hoping to create a WP version. I have not started or had time to work on it yet.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Is it possible to leave the black bar on the left out ? or make it smaller ?

    ReplyDelete
  20. The color on the left (black on the default sample skin) is customizable. Try clicking on some of the skin color options (the small color squares on the bottom left) and changing the design to get an idea of what you can do with the style. This can be any color you want, including white to match the main background color. In other words, you don’t have to keep it if you don’t want it.

  21. I really wish this was a WP theme. Andy/Parallelus is the best designer on ThemeForest, but I’ve had to use another hteme on www.SamIngersoll.com : (

Andy, Perhaps you could be incentivized with additional $s to get this done?

    How much?

  22. Thank you for your comments. I am very glad you like the work.

I really do want to make this a WordPress theme, as I’ve said before it’s my personal favorite of all my designs. Right now I have other obligations keeping me from having the time to work on it. I started refining the custom slide show on the home page and gallery pages to be more configurable which is a prerequisite for the WordPress version. Hopefully when those are done I’ll have the time to begin the WordPress conversion as well.

    Thanks again for the support.

  23. Any update on the WP version? I saw ur post above was 5months ago and was wondering if you have gotten time to begin work on it yet.

Thanks for your response and have a nice day!

  24. Unfortunately the plan to create a WordPress version didn’t work out. I still hope to do it at some point in the future but it’s not in the immediate plans any longer.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I went ahead and turned it into a wordpress version for http://www.shoeobsessive.com/ But it was a bit of a hack and slash job… not bad for 1 hour though…

    ReplyDelete
  26. Have you decided to do a wordpress version? I know you put it on the back-burner for a while but I would definitely pay a premium for this!

    ReplyDelete
  27. There was a special circumstance that was going to make it possible to create the WordPress version and unfortunately it didn’t work out. I was testing the possibility of working with a partner, hoping to make more themes and this conversion was the demo project to see how well we worked together. He had a big opportunity presented to him just before (the very week) we began the project. It was one of those things you can’t pass up and while I was disappointed I completely understand his decision.

Right now I don’t see this being converted to WordPress. It’s still one of my favorites.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Thank you for responding. I’m sorry the original plans to convert this to WP didn’t work out but sometimes it’s just not the right time. Maybe now is a good time to revisit it. At the risk of sounding selfish, I’d love to see you convert this (also, you seem genuinely like this theme as much as we (the fans) do!). I know a lot of developers. Is there something I can do to help? Or, can I commission a Wordpress version? You do beautiful work!!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Thanks for the support, I really appreciate it. I’ll give this some more thought. I wouldn’t do an exact replica for a WP version at this point but maybe a modified or updated variation on the design that keeps the same feel.

  30. Hello,

I have purchased your salutation theme and really like the layout builder and the static blocks creator. I would like to know if these functions are available on all your word press themes or is it just on the salutation theme?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Only Salutation and Mingle have the Layout Manager currently.

This is an HTML template, not a WordPress theme, just in case you didn’t notice.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Great layout. Would love to see this in WPress/BPress.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Please, is there any hope yet for the word press version of this site. Its really amazing and I think there is no site that can fulfil my needs than this fantastic piece. Please let us here something. Thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I currently have no plans to convert this to WordPress. Sorry.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Hello is this theme still updated?
I would prefer a drupal version but html will suit me fine.

    ReplyDelete
  36. This is an HTML template. We still support this product, as we do with all of our items so if there are problems we fix them.
