ReplyDeletethis is not correct! There aren’t unified standards for mobile browsers. all “Validators” only claim to validate. What to validate? Some of them apply appropriate criteria some of them are totally OFF .
w3c: “The W3C mobileOK Checker is a free service by W3C that helps check the level of mobile-friendliness of Web documents”. They check the friendliness which is very subjective.
It appears beautifully on my 3GS iPhone and loads FAST . I really can not see your point here.
This theme is GREAT – both layout and code.

ReplyDeletein FrontPage and I’ve recently required Elements and Kompozer.
I’m an intermediate at best.
My main interest would be to add/subtract/rename pages, add photos and text. No serious modifications. I can change the psd files.
I’m not sure what the numbered buttons are for. I also like the button set. For $3 how can you go wrong.
I thought (from early comments) that there wasn’t a contact form, but I now see it.
What advantages would there be in a Wordpress version? I see quite a few comments, but they are from 5 months ago.
Any tutorials on modifying the theme?

derfall’s the theme is exactly what you see , I have made no modifications to it.
ReplyDeleteThe numbers are for the navigation ( page1, page2…) I have plans for the wordpress version, but in the future.
I bought this theme- awesome. One question- is there a way to force the URL bar to not appear once the site is loaded on index.html so it acts more like a phone “app” instead of a web page? Hide the browswer bar in HTML code. I know it can be done just not sure how.

How could I have the menu expanded by default when a user goes to this mobile site?
ReplyDeleteHow easy it is to modify your template to make it fluid instead of fixed width? Is it just a matter of removing/modifying related entries in CSS , or the fixed width is a core feature used in scripts and the foundation of the layout which will fall apart without it?

does the web app fit all size phone are is it just for iPhone are can you make it fit different size sizes

Owen right now that theme does not change the width . We have it in mind for next version.

Destructiva, the menu is closed by default.
ReplyDeleteThe search will not work unless you do some programming behind it to make it work, remember that this is only an HTML template.
